Iditarod sign ups.

Iditarod is something I've dreamt about for what seems like a long, long time. For one reason or another, or in most years many reasons, I wasn't able to do much about my Iditarod obsession but dream about it. Since we moved to Alaska, we have concentrated all of our efforts into getting ourselves into a position to make the dream a reality.

We are entered in the 2011 Iditarod. We will be posting updates as we prepare for the last great race. For now it's life as usual at the Den. New puppy pics coming soon.

What was I thinking? I mentioned to a few friends that this year was going to be my rookie running of the Iditarod. I guess it's put up or shut up time. Anyone got deep pocket's this is not the time to be holding out.

Dogs for Sale

We'd really like to keep them all, but there just isn't enough time in a day. These are mostly young dogs with loads of potential.

I was planning on having this list together over a month ago, but I just couldn't decide who I was going to keep and who I could live without. I spent the last three weeks of the winter running these guys everyday and they all looked awesome.

Our E and F litters out of Suspect, (who is out of John Littles dog Solomon, and Jeff King's Berkley,) are the out cross we've been looking for. Fat fur balls with the attitude our dogs are know for. Our D litter out of Lugnut X Hero, are all about speed, and our B litter out of Lugnut X Iowa, which is the heart and soul of our breeding program, have already produced a lot of leaders. We are repeating that one this year.

We've already had one litter out of Patton X Lisbon who are featured in the previous post, and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Iowa's litter out of Lugnut, Inca's Litter out of Nestor, and Lethal's litter out of Pepperjack.

Puppies, must be spring.

Lisbon's pups at a week old. She had four males and one female. Check out the little fellow on the right, he's got the coolest handle bar mustache I've ever seen. Got a good suggestion for a name let us know. We name our litters alphabetically, and this will be our G litter. All names must start with the letter G.
